Making Our Own Canals

Class: Year 3 Diamond Year: 2024 - 2025

After learning how and why canals were built we made our own.  The children formed embankments and cut out a staright canal.  They lined the canal and filled it with water.  Then they added boats, an engineer, mill owners, buildings, horses and lots more. 

They look very proud of their creations.
