Literacy and art project
This week Emerald class have been learning about a book called "The Promise" by Nicloa Davies and illustrated by Laura Carlin. We have been learning how to write using colons and semi-colons and have written some paragraphs using dialouge to convey character. Our art project is based on the setting of the promise. We have been drawing pencil sketches of the city and we are going to laminate them and draw colourful outlines using sharpies.
Bugsy Malone
The year sixes found out that their year six producton will be Bugsy Malone! This Monday Emerald have been practising the songs including: Fat Sam's grand slam, Tomorrow and My name is Tallulah!
Year 5 maths
This week in maths the year fives have been learning to identify equivalent fractions represented using tenths and hundredths.
Science
In Science the year sixes have been making posters about invertebres of their choice.
Exciting wrighting
This week in exciting writing we have been doing a test about writing a narative.
