In Aventurine Class we have been very busy creating Top Trumps cards based on North American Physical Geography. We then used these to compare this to our region - Gloucestershire. We have made some beautiful bunting of the 23 North American Countries to hang up on our walls, which have hand-drawn illustrations.

All the children are excited to be going to a once-in-a-lifetime year 5 residential, which is in 2 weeks time, this will be a 3 day experience. All the children are chatting about it in school.

In English we have been doing some Joseph Coelho inspired poetry, with illustrated borders (we have some amazing writers in our class). We are very proud of all they've completed in just 3 weeks. We had an online Author experience with Janelle McCurdy, who has written a range of incredible books and at such a young age! Everyone enjoyed it , when we were asked to make are own Umbras(2 creatures combined).

A big shout out to all the incredible children who have done homework!
