Welcome to the PTFA!


The PTFA plays an essential role in helping to support our school through exciting fundraising ideas, developing extra-curricular opportunities and strengthening the link between parents and school. We are always on the look out for new ideas and suggestions so please do come along and join us at our meetings and events! Everyone is welcome!

Sign up to Classlist! https://classlist.com/ - Classlist is a great way to keep up to date with events in school and in your child's class. The PTFA are also using it as a forum to promote and organise our events, and communicate our fundraising projects with you. 

Come along to our PTFA meetings- these are advertised in the school newsletter and school calendar.

Come to Our Events!

Our events are only a success if people come along. You do not have to spend lots of money, it is just great to see families coming along and having fun. The events are just as much about bringing the parents and children from school together as raising money. The more people that come, the more fun they are!

School Uniform

As an alternative to the uniform shop in town, the PTFA offer good quality, new school uniform at very competitive prices. We offer this as a service to parents, and make a minimal profit, which covers delivery costs from our supplier. Please download a form from the link below, and return to the school office with payment in cash or cheque (made payable to Stroud Valley School PTFA), or collect a form from outside the school office. Orders will be filled on a first come, first serve basis, and sent home with your child. If any item is out of stock we will let you know and aim to fulfil your order as soon as we can. We also have a selection of 2nd hand uniform available to purchase, please ask a member of the PTFA or in the office if you would like to look at the 2nd hand rail.  Order forms are available from the office.  

We've had an amazing year!

Its been a busy year! We have managed to raise a huge amount of money over the past year which the school and your children benefit from. This is what makes all the hard work worthwhile. 

As well as running the Childrens Christmas Fair and the Christmas Raffle and Cake Sale in December we also embarked on the new venture of the Christmas Card Fundraiser which involed the children designing their own Christmas Cards and getting them printed up and sold to parents. This proved a great success!


The Easter Raffle and Cake Sale was as popular as ever!

In May we held a Plant Sale. The children all planted seeds before the Easter holidays; the seeds that sccessfully grew were then ready for sale together with alot of plant donations from our green-fingered parents!

The end of year Disco took place in July and was much enjoyed by the children.

Finally there was our main event of the year the September Sizzle. Thankfully the sun shone and a lovely day was had by all.


Over the past year money raised by the PTFA  has funded a new chicken hutch, playground equipment, school trips, books and resources and also contributed towards the cost of the Yr6 leavers production 'Bugsy Malone'.
